More Than a Place to Stay: Mitch and Natalie’s Story

Every apartment opened, every night of rest provided, every meal delivered. Each one represents a real family navigating an incredibly difficult medical journey. Mitch and Natalie Zlatovich are one of those families.
Mitch and Natalie first stayed at Goodness Village in 2020 while Mitch underwent treatment for Multiple Myeloma. They called one of our apartments home for six months. In 2025, they returned to Little Rock for Mitch to receive CAR-T cell therapy at UAMS, expecting to stay just a few weeks. But two months later, they were still here, still in need and still incredibly grateful.
“From beginning to end, both of our stays have been such blessings,” Natalie shared. “Goodness Village has opened our eyes to what serving others is all about.”
Following their second stay, Mitch and Natalie sent a heartfelt letter describing what Goodness Village meant to them.
Staying with Goodness Village means you will have:
• People lifting you in prayer
• Homecooked meals delivered to your apartment
• Instant friends
• A community that treats you with kindness, support, love and friendship
• A peaceful, clean and quiet place to rest and recover
• Someone who meets your needs in a timely manner
• Gift cards, blessing cleanings, seasonal decorations, special deliveries and more
• People who care about you, both while you are here and after you go home
Mitch and Natalie remind us that Goodness Village is more than a place to stay. It is a community that surrounds families with compassion during some of life’s most challenging seasons.
