It Takes a Village: A New Year Message from Goodness Village

2025 was a meaningful and full year as we celebrated 30 years of serving families traveling to Little Rock for medical care. For three decades (wow), we have provided a place of rest, recovery, and stability for families far from home and this year we expanded that mission in many powerful ways.

We had the privilege of welcoming a growing number of guests and families into our apartments, offering comfort and a place to breathe during some of the hardest seasons of their lives. Together, we reached an exciting milestone: opening a record four new apartments to meet the growing need! This brings our total to 26 and puts us well on our way toward our goal of 30 apartments by the end of 2026.

Throughout the year, our team worked intentionally to deepen volunteer engagement and expand the partnerships that make this mission possible. Every improvement we’ve made is with our guests in mind—ensuring they receive care marked by excellence, compassion, and
dignity.

We also celebrated two special events that helped bring our community even closer. Day of Goodness invited volunteers and neighbors to experience our mission firsthand, while Evening of Goodness raised vital support that sustains families all year long. We are especially grateful for a donor close to our hearts who invested in our future by establishing an endowment that will continue to grow in 2026 and beyond.

None of this would be possible without you—your generosity, prayers, service, and encouragement continue to strengthen this Village in remarkable ways. These efforts have positioned Goodness Village to be even more sustainable and impactful as we look ahead.

Together, we are creating a place where families can rest, heal, and feel the goodness of community during moments when they need it most. As we step into 2026, we look forward to sharing more stories, welcoming new families, and continuing to grow goodness together.
