This quarter we welcomed the precious Beidler family. 

“Being able to feed the kids in a real kitchen, bathe them in bathtubs, and set up play areas for Giuls and his younger siblings has made such a difference. Giuliano is able to continue living life in his home away from home, and for that, I couldn’t be more thankful.”

Linsay Beidler, a mother of six whose path took an unexpected turn when her 5-year-old son received a devastating medical diagnosis with no cure.

We’ve been up to all sorts of goodness in the second quarter of 2024! From preparing our guests for the solar eclipse with a special delivery of glasses and Moon Pies, to showing appreciation to our incredible volunteers during Volunteer Appreciation Month, we’ve had a busy few months. We also participated in several community events such as the UAMS Walk and the Northwest Arkansas Highlands Oncology Vendor Fair. 

But that’s not all—we were awarded several grants thanks to our community partners ARVEST Foundation, Entergy Arkansas, Fellowship Bible Church, and the Blue Cross Blue Shield Employee Contributions Committee. And let’s not forget the exciting news: we were presented with the Star Collaborators of the Year award, along with our friends at Home for Healing, during the Arkansas Cancer Coalition’s Cancer Summit Awards Banquet. Special thanks to the Arkansas Apartment Association for choosing Goodness Village as your charity of the year. It has been a busy year so far, but we’re grateful for every moment spent making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

We are thrilled to announce the first-ever Day of Goodness, benefiting Goodness Village. This unique event is packed with exciting opportunities to get involved and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our guests. Here’s how you can participate:

Team Service Projects: Gather your team and schedule a time to work on a service project that directly benefits the guests of Goodness Village. It’s a hands-on way to give back and see the immediate impact of your efforts.

Apartment Tours: Would you like to see one of our apartments in person? Tour the apartments at our Little Rock locations – The Park Avenue Lofts and The Palisades at Chenal. See firsthand the living spaces that provide comfort and rest for our guests.

On-site Presentation: Want to learn more about our mission without leaving your office? We’ll bring the presentation to you! Our team will visit your business to share the inspiring work of Goodness Village and how your team can get involved.

We also offer various sponsorship opportunities that will give your business excellent exposure at the Day of Goodness event. All sponsors and participants will be invited to a wrap-up celebration that evening. Enjoy refreshments, network, and listen to heartfelt testimonials from former guests whose lives have been transformed by Goodness Village.
