The Coffmans Receive the Gift of Hope and Home.

Donaven and his wife, Susan Coffman, came to Goodness Village from Bella Vista, Arkansas facing an uncertain and challenging journey. Donaven had been diagnosed with MDS, a type of blood cancer, and needed a stem cell transplant.  The Coffmans learned that the treatment they needed to save his life would require them to be away from home for at least 100 days. They were understandably anxious and overwhelmed by finding a place to stay in an unfamiliar city. 

The Coffmans heard about Goodness Village from a family friend, and from the moment they arrived, they say they were met with warmth and compassion. The Coffmans expressed their deep gratitude, ”’Words cannot adequately describe the blessing this organization is. We could not have made it mentally, physically, or financially without you. When you are in a place with no family and no friends, it feels good to get texts and calls from the Goodness Village staff that check in on us or stop by to drop off a homemade meal. We will be forever grateful.”
